We don’t just endure it,
nor simply pull it
We check the nerves and vessels with 3D CT and extract only when truly needed — as safely as possible.
Wisdom tooth extraction – DIAN Dental 3D CT precision diagnosis, safe removal
Do wisdom teeth
have to be endured or pulled?
Wisdom teeth sit farthest back where a brush can’t reach, and most come in crooked or buried in the gum, easily causing decay and gum disease.
But not every wisdom tooth must be removed. If it grows in straight and can be kept clean, we preserve it; if it harms nearby teeth or gums, we consider extraction.
DIAN pinpoints the position of the wisdom tooth and the nerves and vessels with 3D CT precision diagnosis and extracts only when truly needed, in the safest way.
These wisdom teeth are risky if left alone
A wisdom tooth can look fine outside yet cause problems inside the gum.
If you notice the signs below, get a precise diagnosis.
Visible warning signs
- The gum around the wisdom tooth swells and throbs
- It hurts to open your mouth or chew
- The wisdom tooth is tilted or only partly showing
- Food often gets stuck around it
- It’s hard to brush and your breath has worsened
Hidden warning signs
- It looks fine outside but is buried in the gum
- It’s pushing and damaging the root of the molar in front
- A cyst has formed and is dissolving the jawbone
- It doesn’t meet the opposing tooth, causing problems
- Decay is progressing with no symptoms

With 3D CT, down to the nerves and vessels
we analyze precisely
We confirm in 3D the direction of the root and its distance from the nerve canal — hard to see on ordinary panoramic X-rays. We identify risks before extraction and plan safely.
- Precise measurement of distance to the nerve canal
- 3D check of root shape and direction
- Predicting extraction difficulty in advance
- Building a patient-specific extraction plan
With skilled technique,
fast and accurate
Based on the diagnostic data, we extract with minimal incision to reduce tissue damage and recovery time. Minimizing nerve-damage risk is our top priority.
- Fast recovery with minimal incision
- Minimized nerve-damage risk
- Shorter extraction time
- Less pain and swelling afterward
So gentle you barely
feel it — painless anesthesia
A step-by-step anesthesia system that even eases injection pain keeps you comfortable throughout. We adjust the dose to your condition.
- Topical anesthesia eases injection pain
- Use of a painless anesthesia device
- Individualized anesthetic dosing
- Real-time monitoring during the procedure
DIAN’s 3 steps to safe wisdom-tooth extraction
From diagnosis to recovery, we carefully take charge of every step.
Precise diagnosis & consultation
With 3D CT imaging we accurately grasp the wisdom tooth’s position and its relation to the nerve, and fully explain the difficulty and plan.
Safe, painless extraction
After personalized anesthesia, our skilled team extracts quickly and safely while minimizing nerve damage.
Aftercare & recovery
After extraction we provide hemostasis and disinfection with aftercare instructions, and check recovery to prevent complications.
After extraction, please be sure to follow these
For a fast, comfortable recovery, follow the precautions below.
Bite the gauze firmly
Bite the gauze firmly for about 2 hours after extraction to stop bleeding. If bleeding continues, replace it with fresh gauze.
No spitting or straws
To keep the wound’s clot from coming loose, avoid spitting forcefully or using a straw on the day of extraction.
Cold compress to ease swelling
Use an ice pack to reduce swelling on the day; from 2–3 days later, a warm compress aids recovery.
No alcohol, smoking, or hard exercise
For at least 2–3 days, avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, and hard exercise, which hinder healing.
The questions patients ask most about wisdom-tooth extraction (FAQ)
A. No. If it grows in straight, can be kept clean, and doesn’t harm nearby teeth, there’s no need to remove it. But if it’s crooked or buried and causes decay, gum disease, or pain, we recommend extraction. DIAN uses 3D CT diagnosis to judge preservation versus extraction accurately.
A. Yes. For a wisdom tooth impacted near the nerve, we precisely measure the distance to the nerve canal with 3D CT, then extract safely with a technique that minimizes nerve damage. High-difficulty cases proceed after thorough consultation.
A. It varies, but usually there can be swelling and pain for about 2–3 days. DIAN reduces discomfort with minimal incision and painless anesthesia, and supports fast recovery with accurate prescriptions and aftercare guidance.
