Root canal (endodontic) treatment – DIAN Dental natural-tooth-preserving care

Root Canal| General Care Center

The last and most important choice
to save your natural tooth

When a tooth hurts badly, it’s natural to fear it must be pulled. But no matter how far implants advance, they can’t perfectly replace the chewing feel and unique value of a natural tooth that fits your own body.

Root canal treatment cleanly removes irreparably damaged, infected tissue inside a tooth from decay or trauma and seals the space with a safe material — preserving the natural tooth without extraction.

Beyond just relieving immediate pain, DIAN treats from the foundation up so you can keep your natural tooth for life.

CHECKLIST

If you have these symptoms, root canal treatment is urgent.

(* The longer a nerve infection is left, the more it dissolves the bone around the root, so prompt diagnosis and treatment are needed.)

Sign
When decay passes the surface deep into the tooth’s nerve (pulp)
When cold water and hot foods alike cause sharp, severe pain
When a fine crack or a chip exposes the nerve
When throbbing pain — by day, at rest, or lying down at night — keeps you from sleeping
When the gum near the root tip swells or a pus pocket forms
When abnormal wear continually irritates the nerve
Why choose DIAN for root canal treatment?

A 4-step process — a precise procedure done carefully over an average of 3–4 visits.

STEP 01 3D digital precision diagnosis
3D and anatomical diagnosis

We accurately analyze the size of the inflammation at the root tip and the shape of the canals — invisible to the eye — with 3D CT to secure a safe treatment path.

STEP 02 Canal cleaning, shaping & disinfection
Removing infection & shaping canals

We cleanly remove the infected, pain-causing nerve tissue with precision instruments, then clean the narrow, complex canals and thoroughly sterilize them to prevent reinfection.

STEP 03 Gap-free canal filling (sealing)
Biocompatible sealing

Once bacteria are fully removed and the canals are clean, we densely fill them with a special biocompatible material leaving no empty space, blocking any reinvasion by outside bacteria.

STEP 04 Tooth reinforcement & crown restoration
Finishing with a crown

After a root canal, the tooth loses its nutrient supply and can crack easily (like dead wood). We fill the inside with a strong core, then place a crown to fully restore normal chewing function and strength.

The questions patients ask most about root canals (FAQ)

A. The treatment removes the already-infected nerve that causes pain, so once it begins the severe pain actually goes away. At DIAN, from the anesthesia stage we use pain-relief systems (topical and painless anesthesia) so you can be treated comfortably. Don’t worry — please come in.

A. Yes, absolutely. A root-canaled tooth loses its water and nutrient supply and becomes very dry and brittle — like dead wood that snaps at the slightest impact. If you use it without a crown and it splits vertically, the tooth can’t be saved and you’ll need an implant, so you must finish with a crown.
